Contractor equipment
List the largest machine, attachment and tool load; loading angle; tie-down locations; site-surface limits; tow vehicle; and whether ramps, stabilizers or side access are required.
PROCUREMENT NOTE / FIRST ORDER
Compare quotes from up to 3 factories
FREE basic specification and sourcing-requirements review
Eligible first orders may receive up to 3%
Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements. Final savings depend on supplier confirmation, product type and order value.
Application-to-spec translation
Convert the actual cargo, loading process, route, site access and destination into a controlled sourcing brief. UtilityHaul Source coordinates comparison work; the wording “custom” does not confirm factory availability, final configuration or price.
Describe the ApplicationThe intended work sets usable deck or interior dimensions, payload target, loading geometry, securement, floor needs, weather protection, axle and brake choices, coupler interface and access constraints.
Final weight, ratings, component selection, availability, production timing, document scope, freight and destination applicability depend on the quoted build and current supplier response.
Operating tasks
List the largest machine, attachment and tool load; loading angle; tie-down locations; site-surface limits; tow vehicle; and whether ramps, stabilizers or side access are required.
Separate mower, debris and hand-tool zones. Record deck or box size, gate geometry, mesh or solid sides, payload basis, securement and washdown or corrosion exposure.
Identify repeated campus routes, narrow turns, door or ramp clearances, storage compartments, power needs, operating frequency and the staff loading method.
State quantity by body size, axle package and option set. Ask factories to distinguish shared base construction from configuration-specific ratings and documentation.
Include installed shelving, tanks, generators or workstations in the empty-weight and load-distribution discussion. Define ventilation, electrical and access interfaces.
Document cargo dimensions, loading frequency, dock or curb access, route conditions, weather protection, repeatability requirements and multi-destination handoff needs.
Trade-offs
Material choice can affect empty weight, payload, corrosion approach, repair method and acquisition cost. Request material and structural details rather than assuming one choice is universally better.
Axle count alone does not prove load suitability. Compare GVWR, GAWR, tires, brakes, suspension, load distribution, turning behavior and service requirements for the actual duty.
Weather protection and security can add structure, frontal area and weight. Keep internal clearance, access, tare, payload and towing assumptions visible.
Separate customization, inspection, inland transport, freight, duty and destination services. Use the same Incoterm and destination for every response.
Share cargo, configuration, ratings, quantity, destination and document needs so manufacturers respond to one application basis.
